In Memoriam: Gnosi honours the memory of its founding Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Asira E. Asira, whose vision, mentorship, and intellectual leadership shaped the journal from its establishment in 2018. His commitment to rigorous scholarship and to the development of philosophy at the University of Calabar remains the foundation upon which the journal continues to build. Volume 8, Number 2 (2025), titled Continuities of Being: Rethinking Personhood, Death, and Posthumous Existence, was published as a tribute to his life and work.
